Opening Reception: November 13, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
The exhibition features original works by current Sonoma State University students from all majors, representing a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, digital media, printmaking, drawing and mixed media.
The work in the exhibition will be selected by two distinguished art professionals: Kara L. de Lambert, Curator at Imagery Estate Winery and Art Consultant at Lynae Arts; and Jennifer Shada, Artist and Associate Professor of Art at Santa Rosa Junior College. Both jurors bring exceptional expertise and insight to the selection process and will engage with students and the campus community through a Juror's Talk where they will discuss their professional practices and perspectives on contemporary art.

This exhibition presents selected works from contemporary artists in the Sonoma State University Art Collection. The works use pattern, floral compositions and elements to create complex, exotic color scenes that can evoke celebratory moments. As one walks through the Green Music Center to attend various performances, they can consume the joy in their experience through these remarkable works of art.
Sonoma State University alumna, Kara L. de Lambert, who earned a B. A. in Art History and minor in Arts Management in 2012 is the Guest Curator.
