The exhibition brings together works from contemporary artists in the University Art Collection and private collections. The featured works use pattern, floral compositions and elements to create complex, exotic color scenes that can evoke celebratory moments.  As viewers walk through the Green Music Center to attend various performances and concerts, they can consume the color and joy in their experience through these remarkable works of art. 

Bloom is guest curated by Sonoma State University alumna, Kara L. de Lambert, who earned a B.A. in Art History and a minor in Arts Management. For the past 12 years, Kara has been the Curator at Imagery Estate Winery in Glen Ellen. She has curated over 200 artists in the San Francisco Bay Area, nationally and internationally.
